Özcan was signed by Villa last season from Turkish club Kasimpasa, where he has gained significant experience at the senior level.

During his time at Kasimpasa, Özcan made over 70 appearances and has already made his senior international debut for Turkey, playing against Mexico a year ago.

At 19 years old, Özcan has already shown great promise and potential in his young career.
