Despite being down by two goals, Parma refused to give up. They created several scoring opportunities, and their perseverance paid off just before halftime. Sascha Britschgi passed to Adrián Bernabe, who curled beautifully into the top corner from the edge of the box.
The score remained 2-1 in favor of Milan at halftime, but Parma continued their momentum into the second half. Bernabe was given another chance to score, but he curled over in a promising position. The hosts continued to push for an equalizer, and their efforts were eventually rewarded just after the hour mark, as Britschgi grabbed his second assist by crossing for Enrico Del Prato to head past the onrushing Mike Maignan.
Milan threatened to spoil the party in the latter stages, but Parma held on to secure a point. Both teams pushed for a late winner, but neither could find the breakthrough. The match ended 2-2, with Parma ending their winless league streak at four matches and Milan extending their unbeaten away league run to five games.
